Sam P. Daniel received his Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Georgetown University in 1954 and his law degree from the University of Oklahoma in 1959. Prior to completing law school, he served in the United States Air Force as a First Lieutenant.
Mr. Daniel is the Firm's senior trial lawyer with more than 50 years of experience in trials involving a broad range of civil and business litigation and family law . He is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers; a certified Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers; has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America in business litigation and family law since 1983. With respect to the latter he was recognized as the Best Family Law Attorney in the City of Tulsa for 2009, Mr. Daniel is also a Master Emeritus of Chapter XXXII of the American Inns of Court in Tulsa. He has been a frequent writer and seminar lecturer on the subjects of trial techniques and family law and has served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Tulsa College of Law teaching pre-trial procedure.
Mr. Daniel has been actively involved in many community, business and professional endeavors and has served as a director of several business and banking corporations. He served as President of the Tulsa County Bar Association in 1986 and is a past Trustee of the Tulsa County Bar Foundation. He is an Oklahoma Fellow of the American Bar Foundation, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the George Miksch Sutton Avian Research Center and a Trustee of the Oklahoma Chapter of the Nature Conservancy.
